Wilderness Survival Intro
Learn the basics of surviving in the wilderness. Much of our course offering is based on elements of the RCAF doctrine.
This course offers not only a strong foundation of knowledge, but hands on, interactive coaching of important skills that can be used in any outdoor, wilderness or remote setting.
Ask questions, handle equipment and start fires.

Basic Fire Building
Introduction to Shelter Construction
Introduction to Water Procurement
Introduction to Food: Passive techniques for harvesting common plants and animals.

Wilderness Survival
Wilderness Survival- Overnight
Imagine building your own survival shelter, sitting around a crackling fire that you built, watching the stars.
Those are only a few of the things you will do during this course. We will review and apply most of what was learned during Wilderness Survival Intro by adding another two full days and one night in a beautiful wilderness setting.
Learning and thriving while surviving in the Wilderness will absolutely be an experience that you will not forget.

Introduction to Wilderness First Aid (non certification)
Setting up your site
Shelter: Alternative Shelter Options for a longer stay
Fire building for a longer stay
Signals, be seen, get found!
Water Sources and purification methods
Food: Passive techniques for harvesting common plants and animals.

Duration: 2 full days + 1night
