About the event

During this course, you will learn how to construct am improvised shelter, construct a fire without the aid of matches or a lighter, construct traps and snares and learn how to forage for wild survival plants. You will also be introduced to Land Navigation (which will include using a map and compass, building a sun compass, navigating using trees, the sun and the stars).

You will be introduced to the Search and Rescue (SAR) System, Ground to Air Signals such as panel markers, letters and their meanings, and how to construct a signal fire.

This course with truly give you the confidence to face an emergency situation while in the bush.
